a horrifying first for me...

while nose picking (and often the subsequent eating of the claimed gold) on the train here in japan is somewhat of a pandemic (i once saw 3 of 4 people sitting in front of me going at it), this morning, i saw a picking of a much more disturbing nature. a lady, admittedly probably a bit crazy to begin with, repeatedly scratched her head through her fingerless gloves and then placed her dandruff encrusted fingernails into her mouth... over and over... i hope i can sleep tonight.
